We transformed expired shipping crates into furniture
Collabratering with Momart we created a breakroom for staff using material from Momarts end of life shipping crates.
Brief
- Reduce waste for the company
- Design & make items that make note of the materials past life
- Produce functional and aesthetic furniture for staff to enjoy
- Develop items that can be made from the material to sustain the reduction of waste and put the material to good use.
What we created
- Dining Area; communal & individual tables and seats. To cater the needs of staff interactions.
- Seating Area; sofas, coffee tables. Place for staff to relax.
- Storage; storage unit & lockers. Functional for daily uses.
