Assembling Futures

thinkFOUNDATION in partnership with Project Zero Assembling Futures is a taster/engagement programme. An induction to the world of work in a working environment. The programme engages, educates and trains those struggling to acquire the necessary skills and experience to make them work ready. We provide opportunities and support to young Londoners who are at risk of, or have fallen out of education or employment. The programme provides a hands-on working environment within the thinkFOUND furniture making company.

Participants learn to make planters & seating in our workshop and then sell them at events, we work on CV's and demystify the interview process while helping coach individuals into being work ready; working on soft and transferable skills. There is the opportunity participants can link in with projects we are undertaking for clients. Participants on the next programme will have the opportunity to acquire a CSCS card - https://www.cscs.uk.com/

Participants have the opportunity to take on longer training with us making our products on our 3 month work experience programme Step Up to Work. If the participant is not ready for the next step we can continue to mentor and offer up other opportunities or help signpost them to services they may need.
